Our Scholastic Book Fair is in full swing! If you haven’t loaded your student’s e-wallet, you can do so on our school’s fair website. Students may shop during their library time or at another convenient time. The final chance to shop is Family Reading Night on Tuesday, November 25, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Happy shopping!

🇺🇸Today, we had the honor of hosting a Veterans Day breakfast and assembly. The morning began with a delicious breakfast and ended with a wonderful assembly full of patriotic songs sang by our students and performed by our band. A huge thank you to STUCO, Miss. Clifton, Sandy, and Beth for making this day memorable, and to our veterans for their unwavering service.

What an amazing first quarter rewards assembly we had! Congratulations to everyone who achieved perfect attendance, reached their AR reading goals, and made the honor roll—both B and A! 🎓 We also celebrated our character shout outs, by drawing winners who will enjoy a special lunch from the Ice Cream Shoppe next week. 🍦 We had 91 shout outs! A big shout out to all our students for working so hard on showing respect and responsibility for 1st quarter! As we look forward to the second quarter, our character words are **acceptance** and **confidence**—we will continue to strive to show respect and responsibility, while adding in our two new character words. And the highlight of the day? The exciting announcement of our musical production for this year: Shrek! We can’t wait to see all the talent on display. Here’s to a fantastic second quarter ahead!

Veteran's Day Assembly

Reminder: No School on October 31st and November 3rd

A reminder that our Principal’s Costume Parade is tomorrow starting at 2:00. Please arrive by 1:45 if you plan to pass out candy. We will have around 70 students. It looks like the weather is going to cooperate so we will be using the concrete drive on the south end of the school. We have some very excited students who look forward to this event each year! 🎃👻

Food Drive Our 5th Grade DARE students are leading a school wide food drive October 20-November 14. All donations will go to the New Haven Food Pantry.

Our 5th grade students celebrated the end of their Spanish unit with a fiesta. The decorations and food were over the top amazing!

Our 8th grade students enjoyed a presentation given by Brad Borcherding over Colonial America and the American Revolution. As a district, we are so appreciative of Brad and the wealth of knowledge that he shares with our students.
