Mrs. Hischier’s class had a wonderful time on their field trip to Pin Oak Pumpkin Patch! The students enjoyed picking their very own pumpkin, taking a hayride, feeding the animals, and playing in the bounce houses and slides.
It was such a fun and memorable day! The students loved making connections between what they’ve been learning about pumpkins in the classroom and their experiences at the pumpkin patch.
Student Council is looking for a few more participants that want to participate in the Pumpkin Palooza Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 16 from 6-7 pm. Please reach out to Sydnee or Amanda if you are interested.
As a reminder, all children attending after-school events must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. This helps ensure the safety and well-being of every child and supports a positive experience for all attendees.

🐷 Three Little Pigs STEM Fun! 🐷
Mrs. Hischier’s preschool class has been having so much fun learning about the fairy tale The Three Little Pigs! Today, the third graders joined the preschoolers for a special STEM building challenge.
Working together, students were challenged to build a house using only toothpicks and marshmallows. The big question was… Would their house be strong enough to survive the Big Bad Wolf?
Our builders put their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to work! Everyone had a great time, and it was wonderful to see such amazing collaboration between our preschool and third grade students.
Help us stock our Little Food Pantry! The winning class will receive an Ice Cream party provided by Student Council!

We are pleased to report the successful launch of Paywat, our new secure online payment platform. Online payment for school lunches is available online in the Lumen parent portal, as it was in the past. In the future, we will have the capability to offer other options for online payment, such as class shirt orders, field trips, etc. Another new feature we are excited to offer is a credit card payment option at the gate for games, STUCO events, tournaments, and more.
Today, third grade welcomed guest reader Mrs. Freitag to kick off our author study of Patricia Polacco! 📚 Mrs. Freitag is no stranger to Patricia Polacco—she is a big fan of her stories and was excited to share her love of Polacco’s books with our class! We’re so thankful she came to read with us and help us begin this special author study! 💛
We kicked things off with Thank You, Mr. Falker, a story about a young Patricia who struggled with reading when she was younger. It’s a story of perseverance and how, with the help of a special teacher, she learned that she could succeed.
